With Prayers,
Sarah
One of my favorite verses is Matthew 19:26 "...With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." I have always loved this verse because it has such great possibilities! I am a rose-colored glasses type girl. So I love this verse because even though life and other people try to tell you not to dream this verse says I can! Because with God anything is possible! I could meet the love of my life tomorrow, I can forgive this person, I can lose this weight, I can love this person, my loved one CAN come to the Lord in salvation, today can be a good day regardless of what might be going on, and the list goes on and on. I do not necessarily feel comfortable with a lot of serious daydreaming but that is not what I am talking about here. So, we will not go there. :-) I think that so many people let so much get them down. And I do believe there is a time and place for seriousness and sadness. "A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.." Ecclesiastes 3:4 But I think we take a little too much time to mourn, weep, etc when we could be laughing, dancing, and rejoicing! So take heart in whatever is bringing you down this morning and remember, this might be impossible with men, but with God, ANYTHING is possible!!!! :-) Have a wonderful morning, everybody!
With Prayers, Sarah

I am such a wimp! I get lied about, and I cry. I go on visitation, and I get nervous and "wimp out". I have to go without in the name of Jesus, and I complain. I suffer ANY form of persecution (always small compared to Bible times) and I want to give up. I am the modern day wimp of a Christian. Sad, but true. |
