I'm sorry it's been so long. Time has flown and I've been so busy with church camp and youth rally's. lol! But here I am. I don't have a real long piece this time. I just wanted to share with you, especially you girls, a favorite verse of mine.
"A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse;
a spring shut up, a fountain sealed."
Now don't flip out, this verse is in Song of Solomon. I couldn't say how many times I'd read this verse before but I've recently been touched by how precious it is to save all that you can for your future husband (or wife).
My question to you, girls and guys, is this. Are you enclosed? Are you shut up? Are you sealed until the day that you become your husbands/wifes?
As a young woman of 23 who, praise the Lord, has never known a man, nor even been kissed I hold this verse very dear to my heart. It is a verse very special to me in reference to my future husband and to my Lord. As I read it, I hold in my minds eye my future husband and the look on his face when I am able to quote this verse to him as our own. I also hold in my minds eye my precious Lord and Saviour to whom my purity is even more dear than to my future husband.
"And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ." II Thess 3:5 Yes, I'm waiting for my future husband but more than that I'm waiting for Christ. For His will, His man, His timing, etc. I am enclosed, shut up,and sealed, waiting for Christ.
With Prayers,
Sarah
